Manufacturing Project Manager

Our client provides top-level manufacturing consulting, improving business efficiency through manufacturing management, process improvement and quality management.

The Project Manager’s key role is to assess client needs, propose solutions through collaboration with key stakeholders and vendor partnerships and then facilitate the implementation of the trackable and measurable plan.

What you will do:

  • Listen to and elicit information to understand customer needs
  • Research solutions and make recommendations with data to support them
  • Assist manufacturers in researching, evaluating and implementing opportunities for business and technology improvements
  • Coordinate delivery of conracted products and services
  • Manage contracted projects at client business to include schedule, budget, and resources
  • Follow up on partner generated leads and communicate results internally and externally
  • Mentor new PM’s in their successful development
  • Champion continuous improvement process
  • Keep abreast of manufacturing and technology trends

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and several years in manufacturing
  • Business acumen, knowledge and experience in manufacturing operations and technology
  • Experience assessing and consulting on manufacturing issues and technology
  • Demonstrated basic knowledge of business finance and terminology
  • Ability to present and negotiate proposed solutions
