Our client is an engineering services firm developing products outstanding solutions that positively impact our lives. From concept to manufacturability, they develop product for industrial, consumable, automation and medical device industries.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver robust and safe firmware/software
- Work with technical team members to understand scope and collaborate on execution, from planning, testing, timelines/deliverables
- Actively participate in code reviews and design reviews.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Experience with C++ programming and debugging for embedded systems
- Shell scripting and/or Python
- Troubleshooting hardware
- Firmware testing including unit level, simulation and emulation
- Ability to read basic electrical schematics
- Working knowledge of common embedded communication protocols (RS232, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, etc)
- version control systems such as Git and common web-based interfaces
