Talent Acquisition Specialist

Our client is a diverse global company in a niche industry.


Support the employment goals of the organization. In close partnership with hiring managers, the Specialist facilitates the hiring process, including but not limited to developing and implementing proactive recruiting strategies, identifying and screening viable applicants and making recommendations on candidates to be interviewed and selected for employment. The Specialist is responsible for ensuring that the recruiting strategy, methodology, and processes are aligned with the company’s talent strategy and desired employee capabilities/skills.


  • ┬áConduct recruiting strategy meetings and educate hiring managers on hiring process and best practices
  • Post and manage current employment opportunities on appropriate job boards
  • Evaluate applicant credentials to determine competencies related to position description and ideal candidate profile
  • Proactively conduct searches for qualified candidates using applicant tracking system, LinkedIn and other relevant resources
  • Conduct initial screenings and interviews with candidates identified by (or agreed upon with) hiring managers with a focus on alignment with company culture, values and ideal candidate profile
  • Promote company culture and values and help ensure a positive candidate experience
  • Provide guidance to managers to help ensure constructive feedback is provided to unsuccessful internal candidates
  • Advise managers on salary offers based on internal and external equity
  • Lead debrief meetings with interviewers and provide guidance on selection criteria and decision
  • Maintain job description repository in SharePoint
  • Run reports from applicant tracking system and leverage data to make informed recommendations on effective recruiting sources, time to fill and other key metrics

Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years full cycle recruiting experience

Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and strong attention to detail
Knowledge of recruiting, employment practices and related laws
