Jay Casavant

Vantage Point is led by Jay Casavant, who founded the firm in 2007 after being in the high tech recruitment business for over 20 years. Born and raised in Burlington,Vermont, with on-the-ground recruiting experience working in defense/aerospace, biotech/medical device and electronics industries, Jay is a proponent of the Northern New England business community. He brings a thorough understanding of the region and its unique employment marketplaces to every engagement. His competitive nature, enthusiasm, and dedication to the people he serves, have earned him a reputation as one of the best in the field.

Prior to launching Vantage Point, Jay served in multiple management positions at one of the country’s largest recruiting agencies. Outside of business, Jay is a family man with an active lifestyle and an avid hockey player, mountain and road biker and all around outdoor enthusiast.

Uli Stewart

Uli joined the Vantage Point Recruiting in 2012, as the point Recruiting Manager, after 16 years in IT, as a Sr. Systems Analyst and IT business advisor. Her move into recruiting was a natural fit.

“I started recruiting because of my interest in helping individuals maximize their career potential as well as helping companies fulfill their specific talent acquisition needs.”

She was recognized for providing solutions that met business objectives. Although delivering the best solution has shifted from systems to people, her commitment to her customers and business partners continues to be her focus and passion.

“Being the problem solver continues to inspire me. I’m motivated by the people that I work with and find the dynamic industry and ever evolving market place fascinating.”

She’s on the board of Maine Technology User Group. Outside of work, she shares the love of the outdoors that Maine and New England offer; tennis, running, biking and gardening are a few of her passions.
