Project Coordinator

Working with a fast-growing life science company. Supporting the project teams on various software integrations for both technical and business initiatives. The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating project management activities, resources, equipment and information. This includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Break project work into actionable tasks with defined due dates
  • Assign tasks to internal team members and assist with schedule management and priority of daily workloads
  • Support Project Managers by anticipating and reacting to needs as the project evolves
  • Document and analyze risks and provide solid recommendations for mitigation
  • Oversee project tasks and activities
  • Monitor project progress, develop recommendations for project deliverables and remove impediments for the team
  • Use MS Project to monitor tasks, assets, working hours, plans and expenditures

Technical Qualifications

  • Proven analytical and organizational expertise
  • Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role
  • Hands on experience with project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project)
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Self-starter who can identify gaps and take initiative to provide solutions
  • Knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures and guidelines
