Field Service Engineer

Assists customers, reps and sales in product sales and applications.Utilizes engineering techniques to identify, trouble shoot and enhance customer applications. Responsible for supporting Co. products, training, and services. Generate plans, and designs for mechanical and electromechanical products and systems. Direct and coordinate activities involved in the fabrication, operation, application, installation and repair of mechanical or electromechanical products and systems.

Works with all departments across sites to ensure processes and products are developed to meet customer requirements.
Performs and evaluates field installations and recommends design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.
Drives customer retention and builds win/win relationships, continually seeking to understand customer objectives and how our services may fit into their needs.
Provides application support for on-site technical service and coordinates with the sales department.
Maintains up to date and regular service records for all customer paid service requests.
Provides detailed engineering solutions for projects and products.
Ensures completion of all details including design, testing, bills of material, documentation and all follow up until project is completed.
Is an active member of all Design/Product Review meetings in order to provide field service input. Maintains a thorough knowledge of all products sold by Montalvo and its competitors.
Will travel as required for field service in North America

Qualifications:Associate Degree or equivalent
High Level of professionalism and integrity
Strong electro-mechanical, analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to read and understand Mechanical, Electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic blueprints.
Clean driving and personal record (must pass military installation background checks)
Strong computer skills: MS Office
