Business Analyst -Change Management, Training + SW implementation

This role will serve in a critical role to support the numerous facets related to organizational change. Maine state government will be retiring its legacy HR system and moving to Workday. This change will be significant to client and affects every employee. Therefore, this role requires expert levels of planning, critical thinking, and communication skills. The ultimate responsibility of this role is to promote understanding, gain acceptance, manage change-related risk, and ensure the realization of anticipated business benefits in the overall project timeframe.

To ensure success, this role will partner closely with a designated business expert as an ‘OCM peer leader’ in the area of organizational change management. The three major areas of the OCM leadership team will be:

  1. Deep-dive training/onboarding of Human Resource staff
  2. Broad end-user training
  3. Clear and timely communications focused on the organizational change

Skills:

  • Experience managing large Change Management Networks
  • Experience defining and conducting SuperUser programs to develop additional training resources who can address business process changes as well as software skills required for new systems
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and resolve roadblocks to meet deadlines without sacrificing standards of excellence
  • Exceptional attention to detail; strong customer-service orientation; effective meeting management
  • Experience creating presentations, surveys, emails, videos, social media and web content; ability to combine text and graphics
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio; proficiency in SharePoint; proficiency in Survey Monkey
  • Creative and independent, accustomed to creating and maintaining a high-performing team environment
  • Strong organization and writing skills. Experienced developing graphic representations of business and project processes.
  • Passionate, energetic and enthusiastic about managing change

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Shared leadership role: Work in tight partnership with a peer-leader from business community; high level of listening and collaboration skills
  • Understand standard project management control processes/tools to provide input from OCM perspective
  • Identify, plan, and create OCM deliverables to the Project Manager
  • Lead efforts to monitor and document business readiness, identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies to ensure adherence to the project timeline
