IT Support Specialist


  • Provide tier II support for user problems relating to hardware and software
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and repair options.
  • Provide training, support and professional development opportunities for staff
  • Assist with internal moves or set up of IT equipment
  • Maintain an organized and updated inventory of all IT equipment, including computers/tablets, phones, printers, wifi & A/V systems
  • Provide follow up and organized documentation for all issues, maintenance, and projects
  • Assist to ensure that all IT policies and procedures are clearly communicated
  • Ensure all established legal and regulatory standards are maintained


  • At least 2 years in a similar role required.
  • Associate‚Äôs degree or higher in computer science, and/or relevant industry certifications a strong plus
  • Strong problem solving skills for hardware and software
  • Strong customer service skills, patience, and the ability to communicate effectively
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to train others in computer systems
  • Good prioritization and organizational skills
  • Self-starter and able to work independently with a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to work varied hours occasionally
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proficient with use of basic office equipment (printer/copier/fax, phone, etc)
