Responsibilities:
- Provide tier II support for user problems relating to hardware and software
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and repair options.
- Provide training, support and professional development opportunities for staff
- Assist with internal moves or set up of IT equipment
- Maintain an organized and updated inventory of all IT equipment, including computers/tablets, phones, printers, wifi & A/V systems
- Provide follow up and organized documentation for all issues, maintenance, and projects
- Assist to ensure that all IT policies and procedures are clearly communicated
- Ensure all established legal and regulatory standards are maintained
Qualifications
- At least 2 years in a similar role required.
- Associate’s degree or higher in computer science, and/or relevant industry certifications a strong plus
- Strong problem solving skills for hardware and software
- Strong customer service skills, patience, and the ability to communicate effectively
- Interpersonal skills necessary to train others in computer systems
- Good prioritization and organizational skills
- Self-starter and able to work independently with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to work varied hours occasionally
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proficient with use of basic office equipment (printer/copier/fax, phone, etc)
